New "Soda Tax" May be Needed to Pay for Less Expensive Health Care

From the "What's Wrong With This Picture" file:

"Senate leaders are considering new federal taxes on soda and other sugary drinks to help pay for an overhaul of the nation's health-care system."

So let's all make sure to drink lots and lots of unhealthy sugary drinks, so we can pay for our less-expensive health care.  The more sugary stuff we drink, the more unhealthy we'll be, and the less expensive our health care will become!

  1. The more you tax something, the less of it you
have. They won't get that much money in taxes if less of soda is made and then we pay the bill.
